Welcome to ReflexOasis – your place for Rest, Relaxation and Repair

I am a dedicated and experienced Reflexology therapist, trained in various reflexology modalities and specializing in Cranio-Sacral reflexology. I am serious and passionate about what I do and a firm believer in this holistic, non-invasive therapy, which is so much more than just a “foot massage for sore feet”. It is ideal to treat anyone, from newborns to the elderly, and in all states of health. Reflexology can benefit everyone, to maintain your level of health, as prevention, and to relieve numerous aches and pains, deeply relax and find balance.

I am happy to work with my clients in English, French, German and Spanish. I practice in St-Lazare and at the Hudson Chiropractic Center, with clients coming to see me from down-town Montreal all the way to Hawkesbury, Ontario. The results speak for themselves…

I believe that when you take care of your feet – you’re feet will take care of you!

Before diving into the field of complementary medicine as a Reflexologist, Andrea Mühlebach worked as a certified translator and journalist. She has always had a keen interest in natural and complementary health methods, wrote, compiled and translated a book on medicinal herbs and produced her own line of herbal teas before training as a reflexologist with some of the best and leaders in the field.

“I experienced reflexology firsthand as a client while living and working in Switzerland. Reflexology helped me manage a stressful professional life as a journalist, and opened up an entire new world of alternative health. I very much wanted to share my enthusiasm over this holistic health method with others and make a difference in people’s lives, helping them to achieve better health, balance and wellbeing, naturally.”

Andrea became certified in both Foot and Hand Reflexology with Carol Faguy with the Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC) in 2009, and went on to specialize in Cranio-Sacral Reflexology with Dr. Martine Faure-Alderson of the Cranial Sacral Reflexology International Academy, MCSRI, of the UK (2012). She trained in Thai Reflexology with Karen Ball of the Academy of Ancient Reflexology (USA), as well as in Padabhyanga with Farida Irani of Subtle Energies (AUS). She has also had the privilege of training with Hanne Marquardt, a German pioneer in “foot zone massage”. Andrea is a professional member of RAC (RCRT), MCSRI, and the Association des Nathurothérapeutes du Québec (ANQ).

Hanne MarquardtHanne Marquardt I have had the privilege of assisting Hanne Marquardt’s courses and learning from a European pioneer in the Reflexology field. Hanne first came into contact with Reflexology as a massage therapist in 1958 in the US. At first she wanted to prove that this therapy could not work. But then experience proved the contrary: at first her patients were more enthusiastic about Reflexology than she was, however, since the results spoke for themselves, she was soon won over by the therapy.

In 1967, having gained nine years worth of experience in “foot reflex zone therapy”, she began to teach it. In the meantime, some 70 000 professionals with various backgrounds and professions have “gone through her hands”. What was once a lay method for prevention and health maintenance has evolved into a widely respected complementary therapy, and since 1972 some 18 training centers have grow organically in Germany and abroad.

Her books have been translated into over a dozen languages (www.verlaghannemarquardt.de).

Dr. Martine Faure-Alderson has trained me in Cranio-sacral Reflexology and continues to train me in her latest protocols. Her devotion to both Reflexology and the people she treats with her ground-breaking method are a continued source of inspiration to me.

Dr. Martine Faure-Alderson studied medicine and osteopathy, graduating from the College of Osteopathy in London in 1968. She holds diplomas in naturopathy, homeopathy, acupuncture and as a medical herbalist and has been practicing at her London-based clinic for over 40 years.

Dr. Faure-Alderson set up the RTTFA School of Reflexology in Paris in 1974. She is the founder of Cranio-Sacral Reflexology (CSR) and in this groundbreaking work has taken Reflexology to a new level through the integration of Osteopathy, Cranio-Sacral Therapy and Reflexology. It took her many years to develop and teach what is known today as Cranio-Sacral Reflexology (CSR) and for which she developed a number of specialized protocols. She founded the CSRI Academy of Excellence, the International Association of practitioners and teachers of CSR, in London in 2010.

She lectures Cranio-Sacral Reflexology (CSR) the world over and continues to develop new courses and protocols (Cranio-Sacral Hand Reflexology, Bones of the Face in Reflexology, Autonomic Nervous System, Hormonal System).
